That reminds me of an Air Force welder I know 20 years ago, he would get bored and make things out of metal. He made a hockey puck out of solid brass that was perfect except for the color of course.

I made one of those for my grade 10 welding class. Got flash burned retinas and everything. Mine looked more like a moose having sex with a porcupine on a picnic table in July on the south side of a park overlooking a stream, abstractly. Got a b on it though.

Wow that’s amazing. I think it is often unappreciated the amount of technical skill required to pull off amazing art, especially sculpture
